I worked on both Army and Navy programs when I still worked. This is a big deal. It's all those guys talked about for 2-3 weeks leading up to the game.

Yeah, it is amazing when the focus of an education is to make leaders how insignificant football is in that. Growing up in the south, you would think football was the only way to make a man. Looking at many colleges today, you would think football, and not education, was the target.

While it’s the beauty of a free country and is entertaining I think all professional athletes are paid way too much. Baffle that people go spend $1,000s to watch a game for a couple hours. Odd thing in society.

Thankful for the men on the field yesterday and they obviously understand what the real important things are.

All entertainers at the top of their field make huge money, and that's what pro sports are, but I rarely hear much criticism of top actors or musicians earnings.
