Arken EP5 Issues - Did I get a lemon

After hearing from friends how epic a deal the EP5 was I thought I'd buy one for my nrl22 setup to replace a venom. The venom sucks for sure. My issue with the Arken when any light is hitting the lens at the right angle I wind up seeing 2 reticles, the reticle fades a tad and a second shadowy offset reticle appears. Is anyone else expiriencing this. My venom does this ever so slightly when lighting is absolutely terriblebut it's still useable. The arken is pretty bad and it happens even when lighting is decent and the lens hood does not help much. I reached out to arken but I have heard back. Did I get a lemon?

Here is (was) my Arken with essentially zero torque on the rings. They sent me a new one, which I gave away, with no indication of what was potentially wrong with the first one.

I will never go down the Arken path again, especially with their never ending spam text/emails, it’s actually more annoying than throwing away money on a scope from them knowing it’s a coin flip if it works or not.

You didn’t get a lemon they’re just not good scopes.

It's definitely a low price but honestly can buy a venom for less when on sale and the arken is only slightly better...

That I couldn’t tell you, I never got that far as it was clearly broken out of the box and I didn’t want to spend anymore time mounting it, or looking through it.

If it were me, I’d be sending it back for replacement.

Try an EPL4. So far my two are really good for what they are. I can't afford to drop 2k or more on every rifle I own.

I'm in the same boat. I sent back for replacement.

My turd of a SH4 does not have this issue. I would send it back.
