I was my first and only choice. 22 north and 24b N. have no lake access this year and are usually my 1st choice.

Which Dec deer hunt did you draw? How many points did you go in with?

Probably the worst deer unit AZ has ever rotated the late hunt into, They should call it a limited opportunity "premier time" hunt. 19b I had 14 points my friend drew it to with around the same points. only 15 tags for this hunt and I would think we drew in the bonus round if that tell you how little demand from Point holders this hunt has. LOL

Yeah I hear you there. Although, I have seen a couple big ones out there. Definitely not the highest density though. Hope you find a giant and post a write up of knocking him down!

Back in the day it was a great unit. Now with numbers down do to drought and not much cattle grazing so water is not maintained for livestock, as well as almost the entire unit being private and no access allowed it is definitely not what it once was . I would say I am not the only one that feels this way as the general hunt has over a 50% draw success compared to an average of less than 15% for most units. But I will make the most of it as it is the rut and an opportunity. Thanks
