I am curious if anyone is using the Area 419 one piece scope mount and how you like it. I have always ran a matched set of rings, mostly Vortex here lately, but I really like the look of the one piece design. And from a quality standpoint, everything I've bought from Area 419 has been outstanding, so I would imagine this would be no different.

I have the tactical one piece and the hunt rings. I was using zeiss rings on my 300 PRC with a Nf 7-35 and I was having some slippage issues. Got the one piece mount and it is absolutely amazing quality. I personally won’t use anything else now.

Yes, actually 1.5 lbs according to the description. But it’ll be for more of a bench rest application so not a deal breaker for me. But that would suck on a hunting rig

Man I thought in YouTube video they mentioned a weight and it wasn’t that heavy

I believe that weight is for their highest and largest rings. I believe my 34mm low was just under a pound.

Mine just came in the mail. If it hols my score as well as their packaging holds the mount, ill be a happy boy.

I just learned a hard lesson. I have a Leupold Mark 4HD 6-24x52 (34mm tube) and it would not fully seat in the mount. The rings are too narrow to fit the turret housing. The space between the rings is 2.25” and the turret housing 2.30”~. That is the measurement for the 34mm mount so the problem may not be true across the board.

I use one with a 5-25 Mark 5, 35mm, and no problem, best rings out there!
