I also have the Hunt and Match rings. I’ve swapped to pretty much using the A419 rings exclusively. I love them.

Bit hard to do until there's some droptesting done with them or some kind of look into how they keep things in place. But I do really like how well thought out they seem to be.

If the clamp was titanium were the two bolt holes are like NF and UM, you might have a point but it’s aluminum and can crack out.

While 7075 Is better then 6061, dual bolt hole clamps have broken on me with both MDT(6061) and 419(7075) rings. MDT was on me, as I torqued it to 45lb when 25-30lbs is apparently the max per CS. 419 cracked while hunting at 45lbs. If that clamp was titanium instead of aluminum, I’d still be using them and they might be my favorite.

If there is going to be two holes in that clamp, then it is a must for that clamp to be made out of titanium from my experience. If it was only one bolt hole like my Arc Brace M(which is 7075) then I think it would be fine( they even have a higher torq specs) but if it has two holes then it needs to be out of titanium, as aluminum is the weak link there IMO,. With all this said MDT and 419 sent me replacement clamps pieces with no issue

Area 419 torque recommendations are 18 for the caps and 36 for the base. Perhaps not following manufacturer’s recommended torque specifications played a part in your failure? Regardless, thats disappointing they cracked.

MDT was mounting, the 419 I'm not sure how, I had rifle attached to pack. Could have been slight side impact or happened before I attached to pack and didn't notice. etc. I couldn't remember any big impacts but as we all know that doesn't exclude it.

I stand corrected. I watched a video that had those numbers. I just dug out the instructions and you are correct. My apologies.
