Yes and lll continue to do so until someone offers an alternative that lets me buy hobby items with a credit card.

I’ve been screwed by entire stock manufacturers (JAE) by gunsmiths/shops, and by people with paid accounts with high feedback. No more, there are 2 smiths on the planet right now that I’d send a check to and idk if there’s a private party I would.

Sage-pay is ok, but not super common.

I pretty much only use PayPal when I’m purchasing something from the classifieds here. Every time I tell someone that it might take a little bit to make sure that I’ve got my password correct etc, I have some concerns that they might think I’m some kind of scammer or trying to set them up for something. I just figure that when the payment shows up, they’ll understand that it’s as I said.

Guess it depends on the item and who I am buying from/selling to. When purchasing and selling gear, clothing, etc. I do prefer PayPal G&S for buyer and seller protection. They can make their own prohibitions… in those cases, I just an alternative system but potentially with a little more risk.

I get random links might seem suspicious - that’s understandable, but the guy who started that post is without question one of the most honorable guys you’d ever know. If he says it happened as it did - it did.

I get random links might seem suspicious - that’s understandable, but the guy who started that post is without question one of the most honorable guys you’d ever know. If he says it happened as it did - it did.

He didn't say anything except for his title and link. As such, I am not about to click on the link. Perhaps there is more info in the link, but his post is exceptionally suspicious. I am not saying he is lying, or not honorable. I am simply saying that his post is incredibly lacking to the point that I have no interest in going any further.
