You can always find deals on new old bows. That said I had I just kept my Switchback I could have killed the same amount of animals. Maybe more.

To me, $600/year for a bow is peanuts for a hobby. If you look at a snowmobile, ride for 600-800 miles (on a good year) and take $4000-10000 hit depending on the mods I add.
