Archery Iterations or Steps as a new bowhunter

I shot a Mission for probably the first 10 years I had a bow. You can achieve quite a bit with a beginner bow like that. But for me there was a ceiling. And I didn’t realize it until I bought my first flagship bow. They are just so much more consistent. My mission’s backwall was so spongy. I instantly went from a 270’s shooter to mid 290’s. But that was after a lot of years of shooting.
Imo buying a sliding sight will be the upgrade you’ll get the most out of. It’s a blast shooting one for the first time. My wife can shoot out to almost 70 yards at 35 lbs with one. As others have said, skip the chrono, you can shoot it in easily enough
thanks for the reinforcement of the bow I am shooting. Honestly I hand't thought about upgrading that yet and its good to know it will meet my skill set for awhile yet. thank you

You didn't indicate where you live but find the best bow shop near you. They'll either be happy to give lessons or know who will. A good lesson will be worth the money.

Also, practice from unusual positions. Sitting, kneeling, twisting around, etc. They don't just stand in front of you broadside like they're advertising for an arrow to head their way.
