Archery Colorado Eastern While Tail Hunting... Anyone?

Hi,

Does anyone have any information on doing a December 15-31 white tail hunt in eastern colorado with a bow?

I only hunt big game up in the mountains. Since I did not get anything, I thought I might make a play at a White Tail for meat.

QUESTIONS:
- Is the Pawnee National Grassland a good place to maybe consider?
- Is there a place I can find out where there is public land? it mostly looks private.

Any help is MUCH appreciated.
