Been looking at these apps to help build up a set for a new bow, for testing purposes, to see if I can get it nailed in pretty easily with minimum excess cost. I think I’m going to go with OT2 app, as I can Bluetooth to most printers now and print if needed. Thanks for the info above guys.
im a big fan of the ot2 software

not trying to be rude (welcome to the forum ) but you should just buy the pinwheel app and support them its cheap and well worth it it will save you a lot of $ in the long run on arrows
No offense taken at all bojangles. Long time lurker, first time poster. I'd actually purchased/used AA a few years ago when I first got into archery, but I figured it was easier to just ask about a very specific setup as opposed to going through the hassle of getting reacquainted with a new app when I'm not looking to build multiple sets of arrows, and I only plan to own one bow at a time (we'll see how long that lasts). Definitely see your point however.

What do these programs do that regular ol’ spine charts won’t?
I think the standard spine charts you see are a great starting point, but for spine stiffness, there's a spectrum - you can be way too stiff, stiff, but tuneable, barely stiff, and so on up the ladder all the way to shooting a spaghetti noodle which can be dangerous. With all the variables (point/insert weight, FOC, # of vanes, power stroke of the bow, etc...) that can affect arrow spine, it can be fun/practical to really dial in a specific arrow build so that it performs optimally.

How far off are you getting when you use the charts vs the software?
