Arca rail attachments

Looking to add an arca rail to my rifle and thinking about tripod adapters. I aready have my spotting scope tripod that packs well and was searching for an attachment to this tripod. Seems the only adpaters I can find that would screw on to this base are made for cameras. The ones I can find made by some of the shooting companies attach to their bases. Or find an arca attachment that would fit straight in to my tripod and clip in? Thoughts? Ideas? Experience with this? Thanks

Not sure what stock you have on your rifle, but shoot2hunt and salmon river solutions make full length arca rails. Full length works better than just an arca plate on your sling stud so whatever angle you’re shooting at you can still get your tripod properly under your rifle.

Thanks. Shooting a Tikka, will put a Mountain Tactical rail on the stock, it's full length. I'm looking for the tripod head(if that's the correct term) that will attach to my current tripod.

Does the lower portion of that setup detach from the tripod? Sounds like you're looking for a ball head but I haven't had enough beer so may not be clear what you're asking. My tripods the whole head piece will detach and I can replace with whatever I want.

I know it’s expensive to replace more parts, but having everything universally compatible is so frickin nice. Check out the wiser precision ridge warden ball/pan head for glassing and shooting

Yes, this can be tricky. You need to be able to screw that top part off and replace it, but I cant see that far down in the photos. A ballhead preferably for movement but here is what I use:
