Ruger's ARs are definitely not "high end" by any means but certainly isn't bottom of the barrel. It depends on your intended use. If it's your first AR10 you could definitely do a lot worse, and the great part about the AR platform is you can usually change what you don't like. What caliber are you looking at and for what use?
Thanks. 7.62x51/.308 Win. I just like to shoot, reasonable accuracy potential.
I have an SFAR in 308/16" that I like. Shoots 1.5 ish moa for 10 with factory 168 amax. It's hard on brass with a can on it, but runs well. Decent factory trigger but accepts any ar15 trigger or furniture.
I'd be tempted to grab one in 6.5 creedmoor.

Not really dirty, just some ejector punches into the base. The gas block is adjustable but I haven't found a setting that doesn't do this. I'm sure there's some other tuning I could do, but I'm pretty new to the suppressed gas gun game. (DD Enticer S)Curious... what is happening to the brass with the can on? Just super dirty? I don't reload for my ARs so I've never really looked hard at the brass besides how nasty it is from the suppressor.
I own a POF and Larue. Both are great rifles they run great and are very accurate. That being said I also have a SFAR that I love to hunt with. So much lighter and shoots just a tad over an inch. The POF and Larue are mainly range guns now since buying the SFAR. It’s also very dependable. I did change trigger but all else is stock.
