Ar-15 load for wolves?

I wouldn't loose any sleep with just about any choice for wolves. Even fmj would be fine. Just poke a hole.

I've been using the 69gr SMK for deer for several years. Not exclusively but at least one or two a year. With broadside shots you can't tell the difference looking at the vitals while gutting them. Lungs mush, heart wrecked, dead deer. Obviously only broadside shots have been taken but the largest was a 4 year old northern Michigan 8pt. Probably in the 170 lb range dressed. 70 yard shot and a 40 yard recovery. Usually looks like a 243 or 6.5 creed was used looking at the vitals. Granted only perfect shots were taken being it is only a 223 but of the 7 of so deer taken the result has been exactly the same. Short run and tip over.
