Appliance repair guys

The wiring diagram is a must have, but keep in mind many errors have been printed as things get translated into English, or the company just doesn’t care.

The compressor needs neutral from the wall and control voltage from the thermostat on the relay side. On the hot side of the compressor wiring wall power often goes from the mother board and maybe through a few gizmos that could interrupt power.

If relay signal isn’t coming out of the main board you have to eliminate any incorrect inputs to the board that might prevent the board from energizing. Might be as simple as a door switch or evaporator sensor.

I don’t know how fancy fridges control the hot wire - does it simply pass through the board or is it energized with a relay on the board?

Unfortunately, if you can’t find a reason why the board isn’t working, replacing the board doesn’t guarantee it was the problem. I decide up front how much time and money I’ll spend before tossing in the towel. It’s easy to spend more than it’s worth in parts and still never get it to work.
