I live in Spokane wa and was wondering if anyone in the pnw has used that cheap buck jam stuff here to attract deer? I poured a bottle of the apple flavor on a stump and over a salt block. Just curious to if if anyone has had it work or if it sucks donkey balls

Not from your area, so this might not help.

But I've found in soils that have more limestone like Southern WI, Southern MN, Iowa, MO... Buck Jam and Crush Sugarbeets, is gods greatest gift.

They eat it for years on end and eventually you'll have a crater in the ground in about a month... Mix it with some antler king or some kind of powder mineral, dump the buck jam on top to make deer soup.

I have tried several minerals/trophy rocks and have found that buck jam stuff really works... They have eaten whole cottonwood stumps down to the dirt over a season. smells good too.

not in the same area but it works great. if you can use mineral blocks in your state don't spend 10-15$ on the 12lb trophy rocks, go down to your local tractor supply or farm & country store a buy the 50lb trace mineral blocks for 7$

They don't hit the minerals much during the hunting season, seems to be a spring & summer thing.

If yer gonna bait - use the real deal. Corn. That or rake up a pile of acorns and spread those out.
