Anyone with a CTR or UPR running a AB Raptor Suppressor.

I like the short barrel of my 20" CTR for our box stands. Looking at suppressors and I'm considering the AB Raptor due to the over-barrel section not adding alot of length. Weight isn't an issue for my because I'm not hiking with this rifle.

If anyone has one and can comment, please do and send pics. Or if you recommend anything else for it. Also considering the Hyperion but it's pretty long.

I have a 20" CTR that I have used with my Raptor 10 with and without my 5" reflex. The CTR is one of my favorite rifles and the AB Raptor suppressors are fantastic.

I didn't consider the 10, looked at the 8 though. How much addition length did it add? And as far as the reflex, I saw they make 2 different models depending on barrel contour. Which size reflex did you get to clear barrel?

Man any pics you have of the whole setup would be sweet. Mine is a 308.

I bought the 10 +5" reflex for maximum suppression. I shoot a fair bit at home and actually appreciate my neighbors. Also, my kids are interested for now, so maximum suppression = more fun.

The 10+5 is an absolute donkey dick! But it makes the already heavy-ish CTR a very mellow rifle.

The entire reflex is behind the muzzle, so the only additional length is the baffle stack portion. In this case, it's a hair over 7 inches longer.

If it weren't for the reasons mentioned, I would have likely gone 8+3. And still may add an 8 stack at some point.

The flush mount 10 stack (w/out the reflex) is impressive by itself, too.

Mine came with the bull barrel reflex which I wanted as I do have a couple rifles with heavier barrels. I didn't measure whether the other option would clear the CTR barrel as that wasn't my concern.

Man that is sweet. My browning abolt 7 mag with boss is right at 27" so that would work. And the 8 stack is shorter. Man that's great.

Well, for what it's worth, I'd take a 37" total length suppressed over any brake now.

Sure will. I have a apa lil bastard on it now and I apologize to everyone at the range when ishoot. So anything suppressed will help me and them.

Good brakes do what they're supposed to very well. But they are obnoxious!!

You'll really enjoy a suppressor. And you'll want to shoot more!
