Anyone watching Tropical Storm Priscilla?

The southwest is supposed to get quite a bit of rain over the weekend and into next week. Wondering how this will effect hunting next week.

Where are you hunting? NM and AZ could get some pretty good rain. There’s also a low pressure system coming from the north I believe that will compliment Priscilla.

Thread 'CO 1st Rifle Weather Warning'

If you're heading out for 1st Rifle early or even the day before, we have a tropical storm moving through are expecting an historical rain even. Parts of the San Juans are looking at up 8 inches of rain. Even 3 inches of rains for the lower lying areas is historical in nature. Expect mudslides, washed out roads and creeks at Spring levels.

In all of the years I have been attempting to forecast weather in Colorado (+/-26 years), I have never seen a one-week model precipitation forecast this high in our state.

Be prepared for crappy road conditions and a real hard time starting a fire. Any creek crossings you may have could be gnarly.
