Anyone use Vargo nail stakes

Has anyone had luck with the Vargo titanium nail stakes the UL ones I like the groundhogs but for rocky areas the nail stakes seem like they would be easier to use they are spendy just wondering if they will hold up. Will be using them on my Megatarp

Have not used the nail stakes, but have a mess of their regular hook titanium stakes. Hold just fine in everything I've stuck them in, and have yet to break one. If looking for something cheaper you could try the Easton Nano aluminum stakes. They bend around rocks, but take a beating and keep working.

Well I looked at some reviews on you tube and I think I will buy a few don't plan on staking out the whole tarp with them just in spots that might have a rock in the way.

I always carry a couple of the Vargo nail stakes for real tough, rocky spots.

I usually carry 1-2 for the tough spots. They do not do great in loose soil however.

Have you looked at the Easton Nanos? 9" would be great
