Have never used a back bar but am looking for a bit more rearward balance and less side to side wobble when coming to full draw. Looking at the 12 or 15 inch dovetailed model. Any good, bad, or thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks

I like a counter slide on some bows/ situations. I don't use a back bar anymore on any of my hunting sets up and found a counter slide to be a decent alternative. However I did not like the B stinger micro hex in any of the variations, I felt like they added noticeable vibration post shot, experienced this or about three different bows. I didnt try any other of there stabilizer models

I had the original one before they just came out with the dovetail mount version. There was no way to reference the position and angle from the riser unless you used a tape measure and then it was a bit of trial and error after that. The screws stripped out that clamp the stabilizer bar as they were barely long enough to grab the threads - it's repairable, I just don't use it any longer.

The new version looks cooler and you can actually remove and replace it in the same position. Last year I bent my back bar mounting bolt in the field so badly I had to cut it off when I got home. For now I'm just running the 10" stab out front, it makes me more vigilant about checking my bubble level anyway.

I'm currently using one and I like it. Have to have it slid all the way out and maybe a 45 degree angle to balance with quiver
