Anyone tried bear?

Meat off a spring bear coming right out of hibernation sucks IMO. Make it into jerky. Meat off a bear that lives off garbage sucks IMO. High risk of trick and meat has a tang to it. I personally avoid hunting areas where that is likely. A fall bear that lives off berries, meat and grass tastes pretty good.
