I can't hit some of my typical haunts right now due to our idiot Governor Newsome [remember not to vote for this clown when he inevitably runs for any political office] ....I'm going stir crazy not to be able to shoot fish.

To put it in perspective....this is like prime time mid Sept elk rut conditions now........and my boat should be in the water drifting grass flats!

Post em up if you have been killing some carp.....

Been quite a few years since I’ve been. Need to get the bow set back up and get after those dang jumping carp and massive big heads on the Missouri. Have a buddy who shot one that was too heavy for his scale lol.

How do you all dispose of your carp?

I recently got my old bowfishing rig back from my parents' house and would like to go shoot a few from the yak, but I don't really have a good disposal site anymore.

Our King just modified our kingdom from a "stay at home edict" to a "safer at home edict". But then stipulated that we should all stay within 10 miles from home........and then got upset (like Newsome) when everyone was congregating at local hiking trails.

I went to the hardware store yesterday, and there were 16 people in line in front of me to check out. I have never seen more than 3 at any time before this. Not sure why it's more crowded now. The store has been open during this entire time. The cashier said it's been nuts the last few days. But looking at traffic over the last month here, not much has changed from before the virus......roads are still packed all day every day.

Its one of the most ridiculous things I've seen in my lifetime....folks standing in line by the hundreds at Costco...but you can't go out on your boat to fish.

Most Lakes are closed here, public boat launches to the bay and Delta are closed....some private launches are open but its hit and miss.

Went out a couple weeks ago on the river and had terrible visibility but was able to shoot a decent number of carp. It's going to be fantastic from now until October.

I wish they would allow it in Alaska. Would be a blast. It was proposed to the board of fish a few years ago but shot down. I guess I am too dense to understand the difference from shooting your limit with an arrow or catching your limit with a treble hook, but apparently it’s an issue. Obviously it wouldn’t work in the combat fisheries but lots of places that aren’t like that.
