I do. I’ve owned or still own a B14 Hunter, HMR, and Ridge. All three shot sub moa and the Ridge and HMR was 1/4 moa for 5 shots when I did my part. The Ridge is an awesome hunting rifle. They have a nicer more solid feel to them than my Tikkas but are also a little heavier. I prefer my Bergaras over my Tikka’s. The stocks just have a lot more quality feel to them than my Tikka’s

I love my HMR in .300 win mag, it’s more accurate than I am. It’s heavy though, like real heavy.

I have a Hunter in a 6.5. Shoots a 143gr Hornady as accurately as I can. Can't say its more accurate than a tikka because I've never shot one, but I chose the bergara over the tikka for a couple reasons - I like the stock better (especially the duratouch or whatever texture), the trigger is awesome, and I like the blind magazine rather than the detachable mag on the tikka.

I brought it home, mounted a scope on it, shot 15-20 shots then decided I wanted a better scope. Bought a new scope, mounted it, went to the range, got it close, then this was my 4 shot group before moving my scope a final time.

I picked up the HMR recently and am still wringing out loads for it. I was able to get my hands on the Ridge, HMR, and their match chassis rifle. The HMR seemed to me to be a good balance of all of the things I was looking for. I think with a new stock and some bottom metal you can turn a HMR into a Ridge too.
The Tikkas are nice rifles, but the fact that Bergara is a barrel manufacturer first is what sold me on this one. For any sub-400 yard shooting though, the tikka would win for ergonomics and weight for me.

That hmr really intrigues me as a good all around rifle. A bit heavy for hunting but really good ergonomics for shooting in general.

I have a Tikka T3 lite in 300wsm and a Bergara B14 Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor. I think they're both pretty awesome for the money. I've put a trigger spring in the Tikka and a recoil pad. I've done nothing to the Bergara. The finish on the Tikka seems to hold up a little better. I had the Bergara in the back country with snow for a couple days and got some light surface rust on the barrel. The stock on the Hunter feels much nicer than the Tikka but the Tikka is lighter. Both shoot great.

For reference my Bergara hunter in 7 mag weights 9.20 lbs with a sling, 3-port brake and 18oz scope mounted on it. I wouldn't want to go much lighter than that for a magnum rifle.

The barrel/action finish is not the greatest. You will run into surface rust issues unless you're able to wipe it down at the end of the day. I got mine Cerakoted after the break was installed.

The gun shoots almost a .5 minute group using Berger 168 VLD. Very accurate factory rifle.

How do you like the cerakote? Can you post a picture? I am thinking I might want to do the same thing.

I know this thread is old, but I'll add. I have two Bergaras' (owned 3 total). I currently have a Hunter in 30-06 and a Ridge in 7mm-08. Haven't shot the 7mm yet, but am looking forward to it.

I added a Sims recoil pad to the -06. I had to use a R700 ADL pad and it took some cutting/ filing. Not a perfect fit but it works. I'm able to hold 1.75" groups at 200. I was annoyed at the 100yds groups, could never get below 1" consistently. To be fair though, I haven't done a lot of work with it. Just worked up a load for elk hunting.

What do you think of it? Comparable to a tikka?

I had a Bergara B14 hunter in 308 and it was awesome. I sold it to buy a CA Ridgeline but in my time with the 308 it was sub MOA with factory Nosler loads. For the price point it has all the features you'd want. How does it compare to the Tikka? I think they are two of the best factory economy rifles available. My dad bought a tikka, I bought a Bergara. Both shoot awesome. What I liked about the Bergara over the tikka is the aftermarket support. Its a Remington 700 clone. So all corresponding LA/SA Remington 700 aftermarket stocks/triggers/bases will work on the Bergara. Thats what put it over the edge for me.

Stock color, barrel weight/threaded, target knob.

Hunter=green stock and lighter barrel (4 I think)
Ridge=black stock, heavier barrel (5 or 5.5 ) which is threaded, and a larger "target" knob on the bolt.

I have a Woodsman in 7-08. I don't like it. It shoots under an inch, after I sent it back to them. The stock, though pretty wood, feels like I'm holding the barrel of a baseball bat. It just might be the first rifle I ever sell. It just sits in the safe. I have no desire to shoot it.

I have a 7mm-08 Ridge. Love it. Best group so far is .666 With hand loaded Hornady 139 SST. As others have said it is kind of heavy. Great feel to the stock. I also have a Tikka, great gun. It has the smoothest action I have ever owned. Shoots very well also.
