I did. "Impulse"or something. I shot the 31 bow. Pretty compact feeling. It was bare, and therefore light feeling as well.

The bow was s 70 and it was maxed. The draw was smooth but this bow didn't have the prominent valley my E35 has. Just a short bump and you are hard into the wall. Same solid rigid wall. BUT!! I had a hard time holding it there. It was fairly "yanky". I really had to focus on my back tension. Holding full draw while waiting on a slow animal would be a problem for me. Letting down was tough but not impossible to do. I just had to be aware and catch it right in front of that short hump. I dig the cool Kuiu camo patterns. It's faster on paper. I would need to drop to 60 limbs I think.

I still love my 35!!! Thank goodness.

Oh shot the NoCam. Same hard wall. Same short valley.

Is the valley adjustable on these things?

Sounds to me like the timing was out or the draw stops were not set properly. I have been shooting the Impulse 31 & 34 quite a bit lately. I ordered a 34 for myself. As compared to my E32 the draw cycle is definitely stiffer (obviously) but I will say that after 15-20 arrows and getting used to the draw cycle I can draw it just as smooth now. Valley and let off feels identical to my E32. In all, I firmly believe Elite has crushed all of the new 2016 bows at this point.

FWIW, I shot the 34 at 28" and 72# with a 430gr arrow. 289FPS

I ordered a 34 impulse in Kuiu Verde the other day. The hump before the valley was the main difference I noticed over my Energy. Can't wait until it comes in.

maybe the DL was smidge long as well. the 34 is super nice for sure. i kinda want one, but it's a big leap for me right now. all my $$ went to a new mountain bike :(

Not to hijack the thread, but what's everybody's opinion on the tunability of these bows? It seems like I remember there being some issues with tuning these bows to good broadhead flight withe binary cam system? I could just be passing along gossip of fanboys though. I certainly wouldn't mind shooting the new Impulse.

I really like binary cams... This is a 40 yard group that contains, both VPA and Solids along with a single field point. I would say they tune just fine. If you need help tuning a binary there is plenty of info out there to help. Really it's easy enough.

Elites are the EASIEST bows to set up. I max my draw stops, check peak poundage, put bow on draw board to set timing, paint cams in relation to limb, set nocking point at 90 degrees and centershot down the middle. Bullet hole every time and my ST standards are good out to the 80 yards I shot them.
