I've got a 2500hd crew cab short bed Chevy that's primarily my tow rig and recreation/hunting rig. I tow fifth wheel campers with it and just picked up a different camper and its looking like I'll have to flip the axles to get the correct ride height out of it and to clear the box rails. I've done it on another camper and its not a big deal, but I'm tossing around the idea of going with a flat bed and just ruling out wrecking my box when I'm taking the rig somewhere I shouldn't. Anyone else running one? Whats your tool box set up? I've been doing this for a few years and haven't totaled out a box or tailgate yet, but I'm not camping in KOA's and I know sooner or later dumb things happen.
