Anyone own the H&K VP9 or VP9SK?

Only way I’d ditch my VP9 is to replace it with a new one with the slide cutout for optics.

Has all the features I want and none that I don’t want. I’m picky about getting things to work the way I want them to, and have no reservations about doing modifications on working guns. My VP9 is bone stock.

VP9 here as well. Shoots better than the G-19s. The trigger took a little getting used to. I figured the mag release would too, but I don’t even notice the difference now.

I’ve carried a pistol every day for over 30 years. Most I didn’t get to pick. Have carried all the big names, S&W 3 kinds, Glock, SIG, Springfield 1911 and More. The VP9 is what I will carry when I get to choose. In reality, we live in a golden age of pistols. They all are as good and reliable as they have ever been. But the VP9 is as reliable and durable as any, and easier to shoot than most. If that’s what you like, rock on with no worries.

Thank you everyone for your responses! I was pretty much sold on it and now I am definitely sold! Hard part now is just deciding between the VP9 and VP9SK from all the research and reviews I have went over the SK is just smaller and compact but still can be used like the full size VP9 so they claim the Picatinny rail is shorter and you can only mount one mounted light.

I run a SK with a tlr7 and it shoots great. Weight up front keeps the muzzle down but wasnt really an issue prior. Snappier than a walther but most things are. 15926523666682149655427741321199.jpg

VP9 was the first pistol I ever bought, I loved it. Eventually sold it because my wife preferred my CZ to the H&K. I woulda kept it forever other than that!

If I ever buy a new cc pistol it would probably be a vp9SK but I can’t really imagine replacing my Glock 26 as a daily carry piece, it just rides so well and I shoot it well too, no reason to change. Same with my Glock 19, it carries and shoots well for me, can’t justify the cost of another pistol when what I have works well for me.
