Anyone hunting Kodiak?

I’m headed up at the end of November to hunt Kodiak, just curious to hear stories or see pictures from others who have gone this year. Advice is welcome too.

This will be my second hunt on Kodiak. Last time we flew into a high lake, this time I got invited on a boat based hunt.

Me and 7 other guys will be on Raspberry Island hunting blacktail the 2nd week of December. This will be my first trip there and I am really looking to it.

I could take a 22 mag instead of the 223, I just kept reading how big the fox can get and know how much the wind can blow. I have a 204 too but its a little longer barreled and heavier.

We flew in, did a week tent base camp. Live here on Kodiak, so working with transporter and weather windows was super easy

I got back last week from Afognak, we saw lots of does and fawns together. Did not see any bucks but looked like they had been busy rubbing. We were focused on the 2 elk tags in the group though.
