CO Unit 25? (general info)
This is where we'll be heading come mid September. I'm trying to do as much research as possible--picking over topo's and checking out the CO DOW webpages. This will be my first time hunting there (from MN) along with 2 others from WI.
Looking for general advice in this area that can't be seen on maps: Take this road, not that road. This is a road for built Jeeps, you'll die in a regular truck. There will be 20 outfitters and 50 other trucks at this location. That's the kind of info I'd like to get. We're only gonna have 5 days to get it done so wasting a day in a "shit, this sucks" situation is less than ideal.
Not looking for anyones honeyhole, nor would I expect it to be told. It would definitely be re-assuring to get some solid advice though. Being roughly 15 hours away makes pre-season scouting pretty hard. Feel free to PM me if you're concerned about too much public info.
