Anyone have a tricked out .22 pistol they hunt squirrels with.

So what is everyone running for suppressors. I've got an AAC Halcyon and it is pellet gun quiet but heavy. So I picked up a Gemtech-22 and its stupid light but alot louder than I was expecting on the pistol. Haven't gotten to shoot it on my rifle yet. But not impressed with it so far.

Dead air mask right now but I’ll be buying another one, probably a diligent defense road hunter or an otter creek.

Just got the new one bolted together. It's sweet.....

How do you get the red dot mounted back there rather than using the rail that comes on these?

I just got a 22/45 liter, it has the rail and open sights but I’d like to set it up more like yours.

Rails suck, unless there are NO other options. And I muchly prefer a rear mount over a mid mount, Maddmacs makes the lowest rear mount. Lobos and Maddmacs both make good midders.

Thanks, that clears all that up. If you don’t mind, what red dot sights should I be looking at? I have absolutely zero experience with those and there’s so many different ones that I’m sort of having trouble making sense of them all. I’m guessing that trijicon and holosun are the best?

Hunts, you like the green for less flare? I've got all red and the dots seem to be getting fuzzier over time. And it's my eyes, not the sights, I'm sure.

We are a big fan of the FOR Systems Pluto (formerly Mercy Firearms). Weighs in at 2oz and sounds phenomenal. Strikes a great balance of weight and suppression.

It has also been tested by PEW Science and does very well there, currently third place. Pluto PEW Science review

Not only for less flare, but the green is easier for my old eyes to pick up with also being able to go a dimmer illum setting. It seems to be a better mousetrap for old eyes.

Also, I've grabbed another OCL Ti in FDE, since the fam damily pic.....
