Anyone have a Big Sky Mirage 2p?

Sorry, meant Mirage 2p! Can't figure out how to change the title! Although it is very similar to the Revolution and my questions should pertain to both..

Was looking into getting one as a solo shelter.. Trying to decide if I should go from my Copper Spur to this..

My main concern is how rugged it is? Can it take a good rain storm or lighter snow fall? Will it hold up in heavy winds? I've read some good reviews saying it did great in storms but it just doesn't look like it would??

In all the pics I've seen it doesn't look like there are any guy out points at all, is this true? Under the tent options it says you can add up to 4 guy lines.. That seems like not enough? Lots of guy lines are what always give me a sense of safety in bad weather...

*I was thinking about ordering it in cuben but with the heaviest pole options..

I have a revolution 2p but never had it in snow. It is very stable in the moderate winds and rain that I have had it in. It has 8 peg points and 4 guy lines. If you are using it in areas where you might expect heavy snow I would consider the Chinook. It is similar to the Revolution but has an additional pole and is rated for 4 seasons. The good thing about the Chinook is you can leave the extra pole at home and use it as a 3 season tent and save the weight when you aren't expecting bad conditions.

Cheers,
