Anyone had on a Large & Med KUIU Katana Gale Force for fit?

Recently acquired a large Kuiu Katana GF on Rockslide. The piece is what I am looking for but in a perfect world would like less in the body. Don't really want to give up a lot in sleeve length. Does the medium have pretty long sleeve length? Much difference between the two sizes?

Yes, was looking for multiple opinions. I called Sitka once and the young woman who was likely 95 lbs assured me of sizing....wrong.
