Anyone going out this weekend in CO?

I've got an archery tag in CO. Anyone else going out this weekend to fling some arrows?

Not this year but I have been thinking about it. I have two rifle tags this year (one for the regular rifle season in October and a late season doe tag). It seems like a fun hunt and a way to get hunting season early.

I am. Got a ground blind on private, going for the first time this weekend. Gonna stay in the blind for a few hours then, if nothing, probably spot and stalk. We have a decoy too but I'm guessing it won't help much being that it's still pre-rut.

Oh yeah . Count down to opening morning begins in October! Usually quickly remember why I say, every year, that I’m going to skip opening weekend next year. Hot and quiet. Better than not hunting though!

Might head out to the grasslands this weekend. I spotted a few when I went out Monday, in an area with a little topography that may allow me some stalking. How did your opening weekend go?
