Anyone Ever Use DWR or Silicone Spray for their Pack?

Well I am just about dialed in and lined out for my upcoming Archery elk hunt in Colorado. With hardly nothing else to worry about my OCD is starting to creep in. I recently purchased a bottle of ReviveX DWR spray and am wondering if anyone has ever considered using it on their pack?

I will be using a Kifaru DT1 and most all of the innards are protected with sea to summit dry bags but for the occasional items that aren't protected has anyone ever used this, or a similar product, on their pack and if so, was it effective?

DWR will help shed water for a while and may be beneficial for scattered showers, mists, etc. but for prolonged periods of rain the fabric will still soak through.

This is why we use X-Pac fabric for our packs. It is waterproof for the life of the fabric.
