Anyone ever hunt with Davis Outfitters out of Dillingham, AK

Speaking from experience, one trip.

Gabe’s ground game was less than ideal. However he was hands-down confident with his aircraft, which made things nice for me. Our food was great and he took great care of us texting probably once a day from my cell phone.

We did not kill a moose. We only saw two they were both small.

In my mind, there’s a lot that could be improved upon when it comes to Gabe, but not his effort or character.

Do you mind me asking what year you hunted with him?

We hunted with him 2 years ago and I was vey happy with the overall experience. We had a great area, gabe is not friendly at all I'd say but he came across to me as a very confident pilot and he was great at replying to messages and he was the only pilot out of 5 alaska DIY hunts that showed up when he said he would. There are for sure things he could do better but he put us in a good spot, we had to work our butts off to find bulls but we filled the tags. I would hunt with him again if I could afford it! ha
