Anyone draw 061 071 Nevada ?

Drew a early rifle cow tag and hope to get a couple scouting trips in this summer - Anyone game for a scouting/hunting partner ?
Typically my girlfriend would come along but she is catering a big wedding on opening day.

If anyone would be kind enough to share any information on the area as well I would be most appreciative. Anything from vehicle access routes into the area to weather. Plan on packing far from the road as I know these are high tag hunt areas, leaning towards 071 as its a slightly more remote and less traveled area from what I have learned.

I can share abalone ;-)

I drew a bull tag 7 years ago and saw a lot of elk. There is a lot of roads so getting any further than 2 to 3 miles form a road is difficult,. But shooting a cow should not be a problem. A friend of mine had a cow tag last year on shot one after he helped his dad get his deer. What he told me is that most hunters that had cow tags drove the roads . All he did was find a spot that no one was walking and went and shot his cow.

Sounds like there is a big elk population around that area
