Just came across this https://www.jerven.com/the-jerven-bag_1 thinking itd be great for my young ones to whitetail sit with me but the price gonna be way out of budget. Anyone Diy something similar or know of a cheaper US option?

For kids a regular sleeping bag works well, if you have military surplus around i think they are called woobies that are similar to that. For hunting specifically there is a heater body suit and another i can’t think of the name right now. They have suspenders and you pull them up over you.

Put them in some store branded heavy insulated coveralls and bring a camo blanket. Go to the craft store and snag up some camo fleece and have the kids make one of those double sided tie fleece blankets people always give for Christmas lol. Not going to be waterproof or anything but if they’re young enough that you’re worried about them staying nice and toasty and I can’t imagine you guys will do many rainy days anyways.
