Anyone cut an Unknown Suppressor in half yet?

So after looking around a bunch I didn't find anything about one being cut open yet. Does anyone have info on the internals or pics of it being done that I just can't find? I'm curious to see what sort of design these have inside given that they're all printed. (I snagged 2 of the prototypes but don't have anywhere near enough money to sacrifice one myself)

Also, if I'm just a dumb fng and can't use the search correctly please lambast me appropriately!

For what point? The baffles design is simple- complicated designs performed worse.

People believe that super complicated or intricate baffles mean something- the only thing it means is that people go “oooo” and “aaah”. By and large complicated designs have no real effects on performance.

That's good enough for me, thanks Form!

Main reason is knowing what I'm working with cleaning wise. Simpler means easier to keep clean and far less to worry about!

Why not, are they trying hiding something that a x-ray or a jail break wouldn't reveal anyway? There are NO secrets in this industry.

By that statement I don’t think you know anything about “this industry”. Looking inside of a can is the equivalent of the dorks trying to buy a new car but just having to pop the hood and stare at the motor- it’s literally telling you nothing. If you want to cut a UM can open, no one cares.

The whole “look inside” of cans is the BS sold to bumbling boobs.

Well, you are asking about a group of people including the owner that doesn’t clean cans. There are US cans with over 30,000 rounds on them.

Have you guys done any testing of the cans to compare performance after a large volume of rounds? Cans do accumulate carbon, and being an idot who works in the woods for a living and not in the industry, I assume that it eventually will impact performance. Now if that doesn't happen until 10k rounds then sweet, no big deal but if noticeable changes occur after only say 2k then that's something I'd care about. Id guess I average about 1.5k rounds a year

Yes I have seen lots of testing with a lot of different cans after lots of use. I general after they get carbon in them they sound better. One of the best sounding AR cans I have- that nearly everyone agrees sounds great- is 30 years old, was used heavily before I got it, and I have put over 60,000 rounds through it since.

Well why don't you tell us (me) what we (me) don't know about this industry, now that you have injected yourself into the conversation.
Looking in the inside of a suppressor might give an unformed potential buyer some insight into what he or she is buying.
I have no intention of buying a UM suppressor, much less cutting it up in any way.
Inquiring minds want to know, the rest just blow their mouths off. The brighter side is they have a large post count.

You do know that Form helped in the design and a huge portion of the testing of US cans, right? Dude does know what he's talking about.

I just wanted to know what sorta style design it was to know how easy or hard it would be to clean. He told me everything that was needed info wise while not saying anything erroneous.

And there is a lot of stuff in the industry that is proprietary and not simple.

Kindly stop interjecting on my post if you have nothing beneficial to add to the conversation. I'm just trying to learn about what I bought and one of the guys involved in the development helped me out. Have a nice day

Be careful who's wagon you hitch your horses to. I've been in this industry since 1982 and can prove that. You are right about me not being in your thread, so I'm now not.
