On paper, there's a lot to like with that Amplus line. Anyone messed with one? Or even previous Leica models? I've owned Leica binos and rangefinders, but never a rifle scope.

Yes. And from my limited experience (2 ERi and 1 ER) they're not reliable.

One scope the parallax was wonky straight out the box. Had to send it in for service. Took almost 8 weeks for turnaround. Sold immediately upon return.

The other two:

Failed to hold zero (used on Kimber Montana's .338 Fed and .308 Win)
POI/POA inconsistent. Fails to track.

Aside from that, the glass and ER is fantastic! lol

Well that's a bummer! Unfortunate for what is supposed to be a premium optic.

How's their warranty? :ROFLMAO:
I broke a Leica ER with about 300 rnds of heavy recoil 30-06 win 70. 2019.

Got a couple black cruds inside lenses and scope wouldnt adjust.

Called em and sent it back. They fixed it.

Sold it and wish i hadnt.

I've got an Amplus 6 2.5-15x50 on my T3x.

Hunted it for 3 seasons now. Checked zero start of this year and it was right on from last year.

I hunted hard this year though. Between the back floor of the truck with the rest of the stuff going up North, riding on the quad on bumpy tracks out to the area I hunt blacktail, many miles hiking and banging it through steep timber and bluffs, it got hit and caught up a number of times carrying it this year... after a few notable whacks I thought I better recheck it last week and it was pretty good I thought, 1/2 MOA right. Could have easily been my shooting too... Either way good enough for me.

I wouldn't hesitate to get this riflescope again.

I've got two ER scopes. One ER 3.5-14 with target turrets, and the second an ERi 2.5-10 with capped adjustments. Both have been on various rifles (as large as 9.3x62) and both have been great. The ERi spent a lot of hrs on a goat hunt and went thru hell, and the 3.5-14 is my "go to" for chasing accuracy with rifles. By far my favorite scopes.
