As stated above, is there anyone who uses a swag as a quick setup and takedown for a truck camp? Looks like a good option for elk hunting, would be super durable, the canvas is nice. Even later season, October, etc.
What I like best is it seems very simple, quick put up, quick take down. Throw in truck and move on.

Something like below.

I know its similar to a Canvas Cutter in a lot of ways, but it would be a cheaper option for me than the CC as there is stock here in Alberta.
Thanks
Matt

My son and I use them every time we go hunting. Time to roll one out and get it assembled is maybe 5 minutes. Takes longer to get them off the roof of the truck than it does to set them up. We have two double sized swags from different companies, but the setup on both is essentially identical. They are bulky to transport, but thats about their only disadvantage in my opinion.

$900 for a two person tent that weighs almost 50 pounds and packs to 50"x16".

I browsed their description and still don't know what a "swag" is.

It does look cool and is probably well made, but I fail to see the value over a regular tent.
