I've got a 63 Chevy II that I need to make new hard brake lines for but I'm not sure exactly what size fittings I need. Anybody here have any suggestions?

You might be able to order an entire new brake line set that would come with the lines and fittings. For example if you were to search for 1963 chevrolet corvette brake line set you'll probably find them. Or whatever model the vehicle is. Summit Racing or even RockAuto might have them for that age vehicle. If you just need new threaded brake line connectors you may have to do some digging or thread measuring to figure out which ones will work, but it sounds like you are replacing the entire brake lines so I would look for the entire set specific to your year make and model.

Had a 1971 Ford F250- the fitting going into the slave cylinder was SAE and the one going into the junction box on the rear differential was metric. So ordering a complete line for that model is a good idea.

Here is a link to Fine Lines. They may have a full replacement lines for your vehicle. They may be pricey but stainless means never rusting.

I did the entire brakes on my 65 Ford and I used a kit from Amazon. It came with many fittings and a roll of line. Once I found the correct size based off the fittings they sent I picked up anything else at my local store.

gotta be more specific, not all fitting are the same size. its 3/8 IF for the 3/16 line and 7/16 for the 1/4 line. the master is usually different but its been a while for me to remember. there are no metric sizes on a 63 unless someone changed something.
