Any use Fury Star Tip .452 ML 275 grain Bullets?

Yeah, they’re bonded so they hold together pretty well depending on how fast they impact. But they are soft.

Sabot depends on your barrel. Tighter is better within reason. Try the MMP HPH12 or Harvester smooth black. If too tight then try the smaller loaded OD version of those - the MMP HPH24 or Harvester Crush rib.

Thanks, with now both my Knight Extreme and T/C Omega MMP 12 Will not go. But maybe 1 inch not any more! Found the Harvester Short Black Premium and MMP HPH24 are decently tight as compared to Harvetser CR's are to loose in both of my ML's with all the different bullets I have tested in both .50 Cal Bores! Have some Parker BE 275 grain as well as some Speer Deep Curl I will test for accurancy just wondered if the Fury's are similar to Parker BE's and will use for Whitetail Deer. No Elk as heading west is not for me these days! And getting an Elk License here in Michigan has not happened (30 years) doubt it ever will tough to get but I keep applying! (dreaming)

Hard to decipher exactly what you’re saying with the various sabots. But….I’d go with whichever fits your barrel. If slightly loose, then knurl the bullet with a couple files to increase its OD a little. Actually, I do this with all saboted bullets for consistent spin-up.

Yeah, the Parker Ballistic Exteemes are similar to the Furys. They’re not bonded but are very soft and tend to come apart readily. Very easy to get to shoot well.

As stated CR are way too easy going down either barrel. And MMP HPH 12 won't, does not matter which bullet is tried none will go so learned the hard way after MMP stated they would work but won't. The HPH 24 are close to the Harvester Short Black Premium Sabots as to fit just that these are made of different plastics some state the MMP works better in Cold Temps and 1 has been a ML Shooter for 20 years and that is all he uses in his Knight Mountaineer now. (Thought decently tight was important not loose as to a sabot?
Thanks for the comparsion of the Fury to Parker. Will shoot the Parkers that I have and see how they will do with a WT Deer.

So far, I have taken two whitetail deer with these bullets, a large bodied buck at 90 yd and a small doe at 70 yd. I used the McRem and 70 gr of IMR 4198 and a veggie wad. The buck was a perfect broadside lung shot and it literally dropped dead in it's tracks. Lungs were completely destroyed and the abdominal cavity was full of blood. The doe was actually coming straight at me and I did not want a pass though the intestines do I took a high shoulder shot. That was a mistake and the bullet was pretty explosive at the short range and blew a pretty big hole out of the shoulder. In retrospect, I should have taken a low front shot at the heart. The Star Tip 2 bullets are not only extremely accurate but have excellent terminal performance. I also took another large bodied buck at 90 yd with my Bestill 45 Brux/Omega using the predecessor to the Star Tip 2, the 275 FAT with 60 gr IMR 4198 and a veggie wad. It was a head on shot and the bullet entered right behind the left shoulder, traveled through the deer and broke the right hip. Needless to say, he went down immediately. I did not find an exit wound but also didn't recover the bullet so it must have came out with the gut pile. The Fury bullets size easily, are very accurate and really do perform well. Dennis is putting out some great bullets for smokeless shooters.
