Any update on CO Unit 18 after the 2025 Season?

Just wondering if the veg is starting to come back to Unit 18 after the scorched earth. Anyone venture out there in 2025 seasons? I am planning on scouting it but the roads don't open until mid June. Not liking what I hear about number of hunters. So may have to pivot.

The report I heard from my buddy who went this past year was poor. Only a couple elk seen, scorched earth in areas we had previously hunted. No close encounters or shot opportunities. Heavy concentration of hunters where there was untouched timber.
