Any remaining hunts for the youth in the West or Midwest?

This was my 12 year olds first hunt. We struck out on deer. Are there any OTC opportunities left out west or in the Midwest?

Most Midwest states have otc tags. IL, NE, MN, WI, MI, OH, IN

KY gun season starts this weekend, and there is a youth free weekend in December. Ohio has a week starting early December, with another weekend mid month. Ohio, and many of the Midwest states are straight wall only though.

All kinds of seasons still open or will be open over the winter in the southeast.

Oklahoma still has a rifle season coming, archery will go until January 15

Ohio has a youth only gun weekend coming up. November 16 and 17.
That’s still a good time to hit the public land. The week after thanksgiving can get crowded.
