I think Easton injections are very accurate arrows. Hard hitting and penetrate well. Is there any other arrows as good as Easton injections?

Yea I'm Leary of the FMJs because of the bending.

The deep six FMJ has a carbon fiber core and from the reviews I've read seem be pretty tough. The negative reviews I see are the guys complaining about them bending after shooting an animal, for me that isn't a drawback as I've broke plenty of carbon arrows the same way.

Yea forsure. I don't mind after an animal . I just don't want them bending after practicing into targets

Are you saying they bend from hitting a target or from being removed from the target?

Mine all bent from hitting the targets, and over only a 3 week period. All that was showing was a small portion of the fletched end so that's all I ever pulled on, but it was the last 6-8" on the point end that was always out of round and flopping around when spun. Mine were FMJ 300's.

And quite frankly, I don't even care if it was from yanking on them or stepping on them. I don't want to deal with bent arrows....period. I don't want an arrow I have to baby. I get a lot of pass-throughs, I also shoot at grouse, I hit a lot of rocks and gravel/dirt, I shoot at very hard stuff at times just for the heck of it, and my carbons are always good to go. Well at least my TR Crush 300's are always good to go. My Kinetic 200's have been quite a bit more fragile.

Justin, I thought I heard somewhere that Easton was coming out with a stiffer spine on the Injexions this year.

Yea that would be nice if that happened. The one thing I would like is my injections to weigh more. Stiffer spine would allow me to add more weight

Both and from other arrows hitting them in the target. Overall carbon has been much more durable and they are either straight or broken. There is no bent that you might not notice until your arrow flue wildly.

How heavy are you looking to go?

You know I'm probably good at 436 grains. However after my recent coues deer hunt I thought about increasing my arrow weight. As heavy arrows absorb and help to quiet a bow down. After putting in the 3rd insert in 7 arrows I'm sitting at 464 grains. Hopefully I didn't make them too weak.

Yep I do that too. I'm at 436 grains.

I just added a 3rd insert lol. Gonna shoot them now to make sure they tune ok

Black eagle deep impacts, I personally have not used them but my dad has shot them the last 2 plus years and is VERY happy with them. They may be my next arrow, and you can use deep six in them if that's your fancy.

Also Justin if you want to add weight don't dump all that money into inserts, I use brass bar stock from a hardware cut it with a cut off wheel, then sand or grind it down to weight. I've even added slots in them that way the glue has something to hold on to.

Ok thanks. Yea the injections only go to 330 spine. So adding too much weight might make it too weak. I'm shooting a turbo bow as well.
