I like how you can put the pad in a sleve in the bottom of the bag ? Does any one have one looking at the 15 deg , want some input

I have one I use and like the pad sleeve and pillow sleeve , I am a side sleeper so it works well for me no chasing a pillow all night or rolling off the pad. It is more like a quilt in that there is no insulation under you so get a good pad. There are lighter options but for the price i find its fits my needs . Hope this helps

Two years ago I used a BA's bag that I purchased at an REI Garage sale and liked it. I was able to stay on the pad without issues, this was used in fairly decent weather. Last year I used a Western Mountaineering bag and was warm enough but found myself having to pull the bad under me numerous times and or re-arrange myself so I was on the pad. I have been looking off and on for a used BA lost ranger bag.

If you have a tendency to slide off the pad a BA bag might be the way to go.

I have been pretty happy with my BA bag and pad. Can't remember bag name right now but it is a 20 degree bag and I've been using it for three years. Inside a tent I have been comfy in it with temps down to 23F. The bag has the half sleeve for a pad and I like that. It allows your legs to be free of the pad and able to move, bend, etc. while your upper body still holds the bag on the pad without any twisting. I roll around a lot through the night and it has been great so far. Mine is a long bag and a long, insulated pad. I have spent approx 40 nights in it. So satisfied with it that I bought a 15 degree bag when I saw a killer deal. Have not needed it yet but I have a back up and know that I will be able to use that "system" for several more years.
