No magnum cartridges on the 6mm prefits seems wild. I know he has 6prc and 6UM reamers.

Also only 3 options for the 6.5 prefits. 6.5x47, creed, and prc. Was wanting to grab a 6.5 SAUM.No magnum cartridges on the 6mm prefits seems wild. I know he has 6prc and 6UM reamers.
Does x-caliber only offer tikka prefits with barrel nuts? No shouldered pre-fits?
Does it really matter other than a shouldered prefit seemingly being simpler?
Yeah, I was about to make an order and didn't see 6 PRC and was disappointed. No magnum cartridges on the 6mm prefits seems wild. I know he has 6prc and 6UM reamers.
Why are people moving away from CF?PVA does a black friday sale most years, can I ask what is making you go CF for this build? Seems like most people are moving away from those barrels now.
because it's more expensive and often heavier than compareable steel contours . the only real advantages are it looks cool. if you want a light steel contours threaded look at .680 or .750 taperless from PVA or PBB hybrid lite contour (McGowan can do this as a contour)Why are people moving away from CF?
In part because of the short barrel trend. A fluted steel barrel is about the same weight when it is short. Experience shows same stiffness. Why are people moving away from CF?
Anyone know where to get a Brux barrel and/or Manners stock on sale this weekend? Thanks! In part because of the short barrel trend. A fluted steel barrel is about the same weight when it is short. Experience shows same stiffness.
Anything 24” and longer I would still go CF for the weight/stiffness in a hunting rifle.
