Antlers growing yet?

I saw a bachelor group last Sunday afternoon in a soybean field about 150 yards off the road. There were 2 nice ones that were well outside the ears and the body size/shape looked to be at least a 4.5 on one of them, but I can't be 100% sure.

High fence or low fence native genetics or introduced? I only ask because that body is pretty small for the size of head gear that buck has. He has some knobby knees and some staining but not what I would consider the characteristics of an ancient deer to warrant all that extra junk. And being that we are in a drought in TX, it should be a down year for the deer this season.

Couple days ago in south central OK. He is probably pretty much done growing but may add a little more. Hard to tell from this photo. Have several like this and many still with good bumps on the ends.

Last week in PA at my place. Been after him for 2 years. Can’t believe he makes it through.
