Anyone with experience with defiance anti and pierce shadow actions? Which would you choose and why?

Curious myself. Have an anTi and love it (with the upgraded bolt handle for scope clearance). Shadow looks solid too though.

Of the two, Pierce. Their extractor is better and you won't have the possibility of cases bouncing off the scope turret. I like Defiance, but don't care for the M16 extractor and location. It's not bad, but not as good as the Pierce. There isn't a measurable difference between the two outside of that design feature. They both make square and well machined actions.

Sadly, both use Rem pattern triggers, but there isn't anything we can do about that.

I just got rid of an anti and it felt great but I didn't like how close the bolt knob was to the scope as mentioned above. My gunsmith recommended the Pierce and said they're his favorite action now, and I'll be going with them on my next build just due to the fact that they are almost identical in weight but the Pierce is cheaper and comes coated.

Have both, really like both. But will probably go with Pierce from now on due to cost and availability.

What extractor does the pierce have? Says m16 on the website?
