Hey folks, Taking my dad for antelope. He can’t shoot but is coming along and I’d like him to be a part of the moment. We’re going in a unit SW of Rock Springs. He can clumsily move about 100 yards from the truck with a cane or do some crawling.

Any advice on how to set up and not bust them with him present? Ie: Find a vantage point and wait, drive past them and circle back over the hill, etc?

Quite comfortable taking a good shot at 500 yards if wind is light.

Camo him up and find a nice vantage point to sit and watch. Movement will be what gives him away first.

I can say this, dropped the spouse off from the truck and then parked below ridges many times for him to make a stalk, the dang antelope almost always end up coming right by the truck, lol.
