Hi, I recently killed an antelope but as we all know there’s loose hair all over the meat. Is there any hack to get the hair off faster before I take it to the butcher? I know I can pick it off by hand but I just wanted to see if there’s any hacks out there. Thank you

Depending on the climate and temp…hang it up and hose it down and give it a good scrub. I know people get nervous about getting meat wet, but if it’s cold and dry out, and even better if there is some wind, it will be dry minutes later. If it’s going to a butcher he’s going to hang it in a walk in with circulating air and it will dry there as well.

Yeah that won't hurt it at all. It's sitting in wetness over time that promotes bacterial growth.
