$41.75 later, I have a “brand new” gun. Savage Model 10 Predator in 204 Ruger . Picked up this gun cheap for my night vision setup. The factory brush country camo was chipping and scratched so I figured why not. Used a mesh laundry basket for the texturing. Pretty happy with how it turned out!

Looks really good much better than my muzzleloader I did a couple months ago, I plan to do one of my bows soon.

That muzzleloader looks awesome! Big key is to degrease and let dry. Then lots of light coats and a couple clear coats is what I’ve found! I did both of bows, make sure you take them completely apart is what I’ve found.. bows have a lot of angles/edges/ cutouts

What kind of clear coats are you guys using? I’d like something a little more durable as my jobs without a clear coat are chipping pretty easily.

I just use the krylon matte clear coat. Usually do 4-5 coats. Then come back and do a coat the next day
